If in doubt: The bottom of Cleeve Road is
opposite the Crematorium gates. The Crematorium is very clearly
signposted on all main roads leading to and in Leatherhead.
LEATHERHEAD Town Centre or Station
Look for the signs to the Crematorium. At
the Crematorium gates, there is a T junction, with a set of
traffic lights; turn right into Cleeve Road, past St Faiths Day
Centre and the new housing estate on the left; The ERA
Foundation is next on the left hand side.
A245 - Cobham, Byfleet etc.
The A245 is called Woodlands Road until it
goes past Queen Elizabeth's Training College and under the
motorway, then it becomes Randalls Road. Follow the road along,
until the second set of Crematorium gates, and a set of traffic
lights at a T-junction. Turn left into Cleeve Road, past St
Faiths Day Centre and the new housing estate; The ERA Foundation
is next on the left.
A246 - Great Bookham, Little Bookham
etc.
The A246 changes its name from Guildford
Road to Leatherhead Road just before the roundabout, just
outside Fetcham, the junction with the B122. Take the B122,
becoming Hawks Hill into Leatherhead (road becomes Waterways
Road in Leatherhead). Follow one way system round into Station
Road, turning left at junction by station, into Randalls Road.
Follow road to Crematorium; at set of traffic lights at T
junction, turn right into Cleeve Road, past St Faiths Day Centre
and the new housing estate; The ERA Foundation is next on the
left.
A24 - Dorking - Horsham etc.
Follow the A24 up to the roundabout just
outside Leatherhead (this is a large roundabout), Bookham will
be signposted left, Epsom signposted right and Leatherhead town
centre straight on. Go over the roundabout on to the Dorking
Road, B2450, this becomes Gimcrack Hill as it goes into
Leatherhead. (1) Follow the one way system round, along The
Crescent and Leret Way (behind the Swan Centre Car Park); at the
end of Leret Way get into right hand lane and follow Station
Road round to next set of traffic lights facing station; change
lanes to extreme left hand lane and turn into Randalls Road.
Follow road along to Crematorium and a set of traffic lights at
T junction; turn right into Cleeve Road, past St. Faiths Day
Centre and the new housing estate; The ERA Foundation is next on
the left.
If you are coming down the A24 from London,
follow signs at large roundabout just outside Leatherhead for
town centre (straight over roundabout) and follow instructions
from (1)
M25 Clockwise from Essex, Kent, Dartford,
Sevenoaks etc. or anti-clockwise from Middlesex, Uxbridge,
Heathrow, Staines etc. Remember Junction 9 is a staggered
junction.
M25
Anti-Clockwise - Leave at Junction 9 (Chessington
World of Adventures). At the roundabout turn sharp left into
Oxshott Road (A244) for a few yards; turn left at the next road
junction and go over the motorway, this is Kingston Road
(B2430). Go straight ahead at mini roundabout with Tesco's off
to the right and B&Q off to the left. Carry on straight down
Kingston Road until mini roundabout just after a school on the
left (2). Here take the second exit off to the right and then
sharp left (hairpin bend) into Cleeve Road, and again follow
road that bends sharply to the right. This is a residential area
and The ERA Foundation is nearly at the end of the road on the
right hand side.
M25 Clockwise - Leave at Junction 9. At roundabout follow the
signs to Leatherhead town centre. Follow the one way system
round; at the end of Leret Way get into right hand lane and
follow Station Road round to next set of traffic lights facing
station; change lanes to extreme left hand lane and turn into
Randalls Road. Follow road along to Crematorium and a set of
traffic lights at T junction; turn right into Cleeve Road, past
St. Faiths Day Centre and the new housing estate; The ERA
Foundation is next on the left.
M3, M4, M23
Go on to M25 and leave at Junction 9; follow
instructions for M25. |
