Sir Alan Rudge receives President's Medal from Royal Academy of Engineering
On
10 June 2009, Sir Alan Rudge CBE FREng FRS, Chairman
of the ERA Foundation, received the Royal Academy of
Engineering's prestigious "President's Medal" from
Lord Browne of Madingley, President of the Royal
Academy of Engineering, (in the presence of
the Duke of Edinburgh) - "Recognising him for his
personal contributions in engineering research and
as an engineering industrialist, through his
inspirational and unselfish leadership role in the
furtherance of engineering and industry in the UK".
