Andrew Everett welcomed as Executive Secretary of the ERA Foundation

The ERA Foundation is pleased to welcome Andrew Everett as its new Executive Secretary and CEO

After three years with the Foundation our current Executive Secretary/CEO, Keith Robson, will sadly be leaving us. I want to thank Keith on behalf on the Foundation for doing an outstanding job throughout his time with us. I am delighted to say, that after an extensive search, we have found an excellent successor in Andrew Everett who will be starting his new role with us on 5th July.

Innovation and collaboration have been guiding principles for Andrew throughout his career. Andrew spent his first sixteen years in the automotive industry with roles at Ford and Visteon which included Product Engineering, Business Planning, Project Management and Head of the Manufacturing Business Office (MBO) where he was responsible for defining manufacturing strategies for a wide range of vehicle products. In 2007 Andrew joined the Technology Strategy Board as Lead Technologist, Low Carbon Vehicles engaging with senior stakeholders in government and industry to develop programmes of support for R&D. During that time, Andrew became Head of Transport supporting technology development for all transport modes and also developed the business case for the Transport System Catapult after convincing relevant stakeholders that there was significant value to UK industry to consider transport holistically. Andrew is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. He also sits on the UK Automotive Council Technology Group and is a member of the Automotive Electronics Systems Innovation Network (AESIN) Executive Steering Board and the Motorsport Industry Association. He also continues to run his own successful technology and strategy consulting business.
