The ERA Foundation is joining 16 new sponsor organisations this year to support the fourth phase of the campaign.

The ERA believes the work that Made Here Now is doing around recruitment efforts of small and medium-sized manufacturing companies is critical to the Engineering sector across the UK.

The campaign was launched in 2014 and to date it has received backing from over 70 sponsors.

This year sponsors also include 10 manufacturers – JCB, Goodwin, Tata Steel, William Cook, Renishaw, Croft Filters, James Cropper , Plessey Semiconductors, James Walker, Brompton Bicycle, Peratech;Comino Foundation; one financial services group – Walter Scott; one government/industry research organisation – High Value Manufacturing Catapult; one research and technology consultancy – The Technology Partnership; and one university – City University School of Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering.

The primary target of the campaign is young people. The campaign should influence their future choices by showing them the excellent career opportunities that British manufacturing can offer and why it is a great sector in which to work in.
